We're now less than a week away from the return of the Dry Diggings Festival to the Placerville Fairgrounds on September 2-3! Last year's festival set the bar high with 2 days of camping, culture, and reggae performances from Tribal Seeds, J Boog, Stick Figure, Don Carlos, and Collie Buddz. This year's festival promises to keep the torch shining bright with an awesome lineup including Fortunate Youth, Hirie, The Expendables, and Rebelution just to name a few. The event is hosted by the same organizers who put on the Cali Roots Festival in Monterey, so you know the good vibes will be in strong supply all weekend. Aside from great musical performances, there will be a whole host of local breweries on hand to keep the tasty taps flowing in addition to the craft vendor village where you will find whatever your irie heart desires. The Stoopid Shades tent will be setup once again with our freshest selection of shades on deck. We have stocked up on extra frames from our RASTA collection featuring red, yellow, and green paint splatter to make sure your eyes stay irie! The Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival returns to the Hard Rock in South Lake Tahoe for 2016 on August 20! This year's lineup will feature a great mix of reggae vibrations and sounds from the likes of Pepper, Ky-Mani Marley, Don Carlos, Mike Love, and more! As usual, the Stoopid Shades crew will be in attendance with our vendor booth setup to supply ya with the fiyah new looks for your face. We will feature a heavy selection of our RASTA Collection of signature sunglasses, featuring red-yellow-green paint splatter to compliment your irie outfit. This August, the BassCamp Festival returns to Lake Tahoe for the 4th year bigger and better than ever! What started as a one day festival on the shores of North Lake Tahoe has grown into one of the largest music festivals of the year for the Tahoe region and will return to the Hard Rock Hotel Casino for two days August 6-7, 2016. BassCamp will be the largest gathering of EDM artists and fans to come to Tahoe all summer, and of course the Stoopid Shades crew will be in attendance to keep you fans shaded! A full range of EDM sounds from drum and bass, to dubstep, to hardstyle will be served over the two day festival from an awesome lineup of artists including Krewella, Borgeous, Hermitude, and Nero. Open to all ages, BassCamp is sure to be the rave of the summer for EDM fans in the Tahoe, Carson, and Reno areas!

Last winter, The Wormhole SF Bay Area crew and the Likquid Projekt teamed up to bring a night of heavy bass and dance music to Moe's BBQ in Tahoe City each Monday night with the Wormhole Tahoe series. We are excited to announce that The Wormhole has returned for Summer 2016 with more spectacular lineups of DJs and artists each Tuesday night! The events will bring a host of musicians from the Northern California bass music scene straight to the shores of North Lake Tahoe each Tuesday night at Moe's BBQ from 9pm-2am. Many different genres of EDM music from dubstep to trance to reggaestep will be vibrating the dancefloor at Moe's each night. The entertainment isnt limited to music only- visual artists and lazer light shows will also be present to compliment the heavy bass, as well as local fashion vendors such as Truckee's own Fresh Air Clothing and of course Stoopid Shades to keep you looking good all night long! The Stoopid Shades booth will be featuring special collections of our blacklight reactive eyewear as well as diffraction and kaleidoscope shades to create an extra trippy visual experience for all you worms!
